A workshop was held on Industrial Wastewater Management in Economic Zones held at the Ball Room of Pan Pacific Sonargaon Dhaka on November 28, 2016. Bangladesh Economic Zones Authority (BEZA) and the 2030 Water Resource Group jointly organized the workshop. BEZA Executive Chairman Mr. Paban Chowdhury (Secretary) was present as the Chief Guest of the workshop.
Coordinator of 2030 Water Resource Group Mr. Sayef Tanzeem Qayyum highlighting on the goal of the workshop said, if Economic Zones treats effluent centrally the cost will be reduced. Among others, Director of the Department of Environment Dr. Sultan Ahmed expressed her technical view.
Government officials, zone developers, factory owners, technical assistance providers, infrastructure builders, investors also presented their views on the workshop.
